As a child growing up in the rural community of Keysville/Gough in Burke County, Georgia, Loretta Stephens Adderson developed a deep appreciation for the land and the values instilled by farm life.
She attended local schools and graduated from Waynesboro High & Industrial School in 1962. Loretta's journey continued as she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics and Institutional Management from Savannah State College in Savannah, Georgia. There, she met and married Samuel E. Adderson, a Mathematics major and Engineer.
With her extensive knowledge in nutrition and strong support for sustainable agriculture, Loretta became an experienced Nutritionist with exceptional managerial skills. She brings her expertise to Adderson's Fresh Produce and Historic Black Farm by curating a collection of products that reflect the essence of rural farm life.
Her captivating e-book, Farm Girl, provides a glimpse into the unique experiences of growing up on a Georgia farm.
